Marion County firefighters rushed to the scene after a commercial bus became engulfed in flames on Interstate 75 in Marion County on Wednesday evening.
According to a social media post from Marion County Fire Rescue, units were dispatched to mile marker 341 on I-75 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
Crew members from MCFR’s Ladder 3, Engine 24, Tanker 24, and Tanker 16 units arrived on scene and observed a commercial bus that was 75% covered in flames.
Firefighters immediately deployed hose lines to combat the fire, and the blaze was extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
