An Ocala bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck Thursday afternoon in Marion County.
At around 12:15 p.m., a Chevy pickup truck driven by 47-year-old Richard Terrell of Ocala collided with 29-year-old Blaize Links of Ocala, who was riding a bicycle, at the intersection of SW 81st St. and SW 147th Ave., according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report.
Links was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
