Robert I. “Bob” Usher, Sr., 88, of Silver Springs, FL, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018. Bob was born in Ocala and lived most of his life in Pahokee, FL before moving back to Ocala in 1981. He served as a US Navy veteran photographer. Bob was proprietor of Usher’s Grocery Store in Pahokee, and Bob’s Country Store in Scrambletown. He belonged to the VFW in Salt Springs and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean Usher, son Robert Usher, daughters Jennifer Young and JoEllen Wilkerson, 10 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Raymond Usher in 1988. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Barnes Cemetery in Ocala.
