Marion County deputies are investigating a shooting in the 7900 block of NW 39th Avenue Road.
The shooting took place about two miles from Fessenden Elementary School, so as a precaution the school was put on code red. Deputies say the school is not involved in the incident.
Resident are being asked to stay clear of the area during the investigation.
