An Oxford Downs security official called a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy after a customer attempted to pay a bartender with a counterfeit bill.
The incident happened late Monday night when the customer attempted to take care of a tab at the Cardroom & Tiki Bar, which is located at 17996 S. U.S. Hwy. 301 in Summerfield.
The bartender reported that the customer paid with other currency after being informed the $50 bill was fake.
