Normand W. Lallier, 82, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Sunday September 2, 2018 at Hospice’s Legacy House in Ocala, Florida.

The second of thirteen children, Normand was born on March 9, 1936 in Chartierville, Quebec, Canada and moved to Connecticut in the early 1960’s. He enlisted in the United States Army and served for several years before being honorably discharged in 1966. He lived most of his life in Winchester, CT before retiring to Ocala in 2003.

He loved golfing and made it a regular part of his weekly schedule. Normand also enjoyed watching baseball games, especially the Boston Red Sox and any hockey game he could find on television. Normand looked forward to his yearly summer trips to New England and Canada to visit family and friends.

Normand leaves his children, Norman Lallier and his wife, Susan, of Hopkinton, MA., Stephanie and Kenneth Valickis of Winchester, CT., Anne-Marie and Michael Travaglini of Norfolk, CT., and Lynette and Michael Benenati of New Paltz, NY. In addition, he leaves his beloved grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Christopher and Nicholas Lallier, Josie and Grace Valickis, Emily Orban, Elysia and Marco Travaglini, Michael Jr., Tyler and Hannah Benenati.

There will be a Celebration of Normand’s Life at Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation, 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd., Ocala, FL, on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00AM.
