An Ocala man who had not been wearing his seatbelt died after he was ejected from his car in a crash Friday night in Marion County.
Steven Michael Walsh, 39, of Ocala, had been at the wheel of a 2004 Toyota Corolla at 11:50 p.m. on County Road 475 when the car overturned and struck a fence and then a brick driveway entrance, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. He was ejected from the vehicle.
Walsh was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Fire Rescue. The report noted he had not been wearing a seatbelt.
