Thief sought after hefty supply of shrimp goes missing from Ocala Publix

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man in connection with stolen groceries from an Ocala Publix store.

This man is being sought in connection with the theft of more than $600 in groceries from the Publix store on NW 49th Avenue in Ocala.

Deputies say the man took more than $600 worth of shrimp and alcohol from the Publix on NW 49th Avenue in Ocala on the early afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 1. And they say he left the store in a late-model white Subaru, a sheriff’s office report states.
