Prowler caught on surveillance footage sought after home burglary

The Marion County sheriff’s office is asking for help in identifying a suspect possibly connected to a home burglary.

Marion County sheriff’s detectives are seeking the identity of this man, who was caught on surveillance footage before a home in the 5800 block of S Hwy. 314A was burglarized early last month.

The crime took place at a residence in the 5800 block of S Hwy. 314A on Dec. 2. Sheriff’s deputies also are seeking the identity of a man who was seen prowling around the same home. He is believed to have had some type of pry tool in his hand before the burglary, a sheriff’s office report states.
