David P. “Dave” Joseph, 82, of Ocala, FL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Dave was born in Ohio to Paul and Margaret Joseph and has lived in Ocala since he was 3 years old. He was a construction supervisor before opening his own restaurant, Dave’s Bar-B-Que, in Ocala, FL. Dave was a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and regular vacations around the southern states.
Dave is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie Joseph of Ocala, daughter Margaret “Peggy” Miller and husband John, and grandson Alex Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11th at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala. Visitation from 9-10am, and Ceremony at 10am. Graveside services at Highland Memorial Park at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Ocala.
