Sheriff’s Office seeks help in finding woman sought in Ocala Wal-Mart thefts

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about the woman pictured above in connection with fraudulent returns and a sweater stolen from an Ocala Wal-Mart.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a woman who is wanted in connection with fraud and stealing clothes from an Ocala Wal-Mart.

The woman is being accused of going into the Wal-Mart at 9570 SW State Rd. 200 in Ocala on the evening of Feb. 1 and placing multiple items in her cart. She then went to a register to return the items with a receipt that later was determined to be fraudulent, a sheriff’s office report states.

The woman also is being accused of going to the clothing department, taking a sweater off the rack, putting it on and leaving the store without paying for the items, the report says.
