Muriel Margaret (Pilcher) Webb, of Lafayette, Louisiana and longtime resident of Ocala, born on December 22, 1922 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away at age 96 on February 8, 2019 in Little Lake Weir, Florida.
She graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1941 and worked as a Hospital Dietitian. Muriel was the loving wife of the late Dr. Herbert M. Webb for 51 years.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Pilcher and David Dugas; and sister, Gwen Higgins. Muriel is survived by her daughters, Miriam (Mimi) Ayer (Mike), Jane Voge (Joe), Lisa Hodges (Mark), and Gwen Carlton (Dwayne); sons, Herbert Webb, Esq.(Paula), Michael Webb, MD (Patti), John Webb, Jody Webb, and Bill Webb (Mala(dec)); brothers, Joseph Pilcher, Edmund Dugas, Kenneth Dugas, and Jean Dugas; sister, Janice Walters; Brother-in-law Wallace Webb (Alma); and grandchildren, Josh Ayer (Wendi), Max Ayer (Tiffany), Justin Webb, Dillon Webb, Sarah Webb, James Webb (Margarita), Brian Cook (Chelsea), Kevin Cook, Liz Hodges (Sam), Mark Hodges, Jr.(Sarah), Joseph Putnam, Kelly Carlton, Crawford Webb, Hunter Webb, and Dennis Webb; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Muriel loved bridge, reading, relaxing at the Lake and spending time with family and friends. She was a faithful parishioner and dedicated member at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and parent supporter for Blessed Trinity School.
Friends and family members are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass, officiated by Father Patrick Sheedy, which will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 14 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th St, Ocala, FL. There will be no graveside service.
