Marion County firefighters were called to a blaze Tuesday night on SW 103rd Loop.
When fire crews arrived shortly after 7 p.m., they found heavy smoke and flames throughout the structure. A short time later, the flames broke through the roof, presenting challenges as firefighters continued to battle the blaze.
Firefighters managed to locate the family dogs and they were rescued from the burning home and treated with oxygen, a report states.
The blaze remains under investigation by the Marion County Fire Rescue Fire Marshal and the State Fire Marshal.
