Harry’s Seafood, Bar & Grille hosted a customer appreciation event on Monday to celebrate over two decades of service in the Ocala community.
The restaurant, which sits smack dab in the middle of downtown Ocala’s main square at 24 SE 1st Avenue, has been a mainstay in the city since its inception 22 years ago.
Known for serving up Louisiana favorites with a modern twist, Monday’s special customer appreciation event gave customers a chance to try some of the seafood spot’s most well-known dishes and drinks on the house.
Patrons were treated to a bevy of the restaurant’s most popular dishes including smoked salmon spread, beignets, boudin balls, and their ever-popular jambalaya.
The modern twist that Harry’s puts on its food has always been a big hit with the community, drawing a steady flow of customers every day of the week. While most traditional New Orleans restaurants serve up beignets, a white chocolate bourbon sauce and Oreo lodged in the middle is what sets Harry’s version of the sweet treat apart from the rest.
In addition to being a staple in downtown Ocala for over two decades, Harry’s has locations in four other cities across the state of Florida, including Gainesville and Lakeland.
The Ocala location is open seven days a week, starting at 11 a.m. each day and closing at 10 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
