County announces lane closures along SE 24th/28th Street through 2020

The county has announced lane closures along SE 24th/28th Street through 2020 that will start later this month.

The Marion County Office of the County Engineer says the temporary lane closures will be along Southeast 24th Street/Southeast 28th Street between the intersections of Southeast 36th Avenue and State Road 35 (Baseline Road/Southeast 58th Avenue). The closures will begin on July 22, 2019 and should last through Jan. 2, 2020, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Crews will place barricades, flaggers and signs to direct traffic through work zone. Travelers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes, when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the work schedule.
