Frantic woman claims man threatened to kill her and kids over missing marijuana

A frantic woman with a harrowing story of being kidnapped and threatened flagged down an Ocala Police officer Sunday night while on the run.

The woman told the officer, who had been stopped in traffic in the 1000 block of County Road 464, that the men involved also had threatened to kill her family, an Ocala Police report states.

Michael William Timm, Dylan Michael Rozmer and Jacob Alexander Sanders

The woman told the officer that she went to an Ocala residence where she had served as a cleaning person to purchase $25 worth of marijuana from “Mike” and called to tell him she was on the way. She said “Mike,” later identified as 25-year-old Michael William Timm, opened the door when she arrived and she entered the residence and went to a kitchen island, where she put $150 and her car keys on the counter, the report says.

The woman claimed Timm walked up behind her and with one arm grabbed her around the neck. She said he then took a black handgun out of his pocket and put it to her head. She said she wasn’t sure if Timm was “playing,” so she attempted to push him away and he grabbed her around the neck even tighter, the report says.

The woman said Timm started questioning her about missing narcotics and then threw her down and put the barrel of the pistol in her mouth. She said another man, later identified as 20-year-old Dylan Michael Rozmer, also pointed a “long brown gun” at her head while she was on the ground, the report says.

The woman said Timm accused her of stealing his marijuana and claimed she must have made a copy of his house key. She said she had realized she still had a house key and had returned it to Timms on July 5 or 6, the report says.

The woman said she was thrown to the floor and Timm took her cell phone. She said Timm told Rozmer they were going to go to her house to look for the marijuana. And she claimed Timm said she would tell the truth when “he had his gun in her children’s face,” the report says.

The woman said she got up because she believed they were going to her house. But she Timm grabbed her, accused her of trying to escape and pushed her to the floor with his hands around her neck while telling her “she was going to die right now,” the report says.

The woman said she screamed loudly as Timm threw her against a wall. She said Timm said she was making a scene so he was going to release her. But she claimed he told her she had 24 hours to come up with the money for the marijuana or he was going to “kill her and her kids,” the report says, adding that Timm gave her car keys but kept her phone.

Timm was arrested early Monday morning at his residence at the Steeples Apartment, located at 2901 SW 41st St. He was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm, nine counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, armed robbery, two counts of possession of cannabis concentrate (wax and oil), felony possession of marijuana, owning or renting a place for manufacturing a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting without violence. He was being held on $232,000 bond and no future court date has yet been set.

Rozmer was arrested at his residence at 2647 SW 20th Cir. He was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and armed robbery and being held on $170,000 bond. He is due in court Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charges.

Jacob Alexander Sanders, 26, of Sopchoppy, also was arrested at Rozmer’s residence. Ocala SWAT officers and detectives located him lying on a bed in a back bedroom next to a black shotgun. He was charged with possession of THC wax and drug paraphernalia and released Monday at 11:24 a.m. on $3,000 bond. His next court date hasn’t yet been set.
