The Ocala City Hall parking lot will close temporarily starting Thursday, July 25.
The temporary closure is on account of a resurfacing project that is expected to be completed in five business days permitting weather.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to utilize the free downtown parking garage located at the corner of SE Osceola Avenue and E Fort King Street during resurfacing. Directional signage will be in place.
In addition, the municipal services drop box at City Hall will not be available during construction. A walk-up payment drop box is available at the City of Ocala’s Customer Service Office located at 201 SE 3rd St. The City also has payment kiosks at the following locations:
- City of Ocala Customer Service Office – 201 SE 3rd St.
- Paddock Mall – 3100 SW College Rd.
- Marion County Public Library Headquarters – 2720 E Silver Springs Blvd.
- Citgo “The Spur” – 1211 NW 10th St.
