The Ocala Cancer Center cut the ribbon on their new facility at 4945 SW 49th Place on Tuesday morning.
The organization, whose parent company Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is the largest independent medical oncology/hematology practice in the United States, welcomed local dignitaries and the Ocala Chamber and Economic Partnership to open the doors on their new 21,000 square foot space.
The center offers a wide range of treatments and services, including radiation oncology and medical oncology, targeted treatments, genomic testing, and immunotherapies. In addition, there are 47 chemotherapy chairs and 17 examination rooms.
