A parking lot in downtown Ocala will close on Friday for planned improvements.
Parking lot six, located on North Magnolia Avenue, between NW Third Street and NW Second Street, will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, August 9, to accommodate geotechnical testing for future improvements to the Midtown area. The project is expected to be complete by Saturday at 7 a.m.
Parking lot five, also known as the Concord Lot, located on North Magnolia Avenue, between NE First Street and NE Second Street, will be open to the public for parking during this time.
During this project, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.
