Piesanos to open newest location in Villages this month

The Piesanos in The Villages has plans to open its doors later this month.

After opening two locations in Ocala in the last few years, the company has set its sights on its sixth location in The Villages and has a target opening date of Monday, Aug. 19 at Lake Deaton Plaza.

If you have tried Piesanos in Ocala, you know that their new location in The Villages will more than likely be well-received by the community.

That’s because the business, which has three locations in Gainesville as well, delivers a quality product in a great setting for affordable prices.

The restaurant offers a large list of classic and modern Italian dishes, with a variety of lunch and dinner options depending on the size of a diner’s appetite.

Every meal comes with fresh baked rolls, and the restaurant’s list of appetizers is just as abundant in variety as its entrees, including Italian favorites like caprese, bruschetta, and calamari.

The soups at Piesanos are all made from scratch and are perhaps one of the most popular dishes as a result. The soup of the day varies, but favorites like Chicken Enchilada, Italian Wedding, and a special Beer Cheese soup are so popular that customers frequently call the restaurant just to inquire about which soup is featured.

Despite having a variety of dining options, there’s no escaping the stone fired pizza smells that waft through the restaurant. Pizza sizes range from personal (8″) to extreme (24″), with the restaurant offering nearly 30 types of specialty gourmet pizzas. Every pizza can be customized with a plethora of toppings, and the traditional dough can be replaced with a glutton-free cauliflower crust alternative.

The restaurant features a full bar, equipped with top shelf liquors, wines, and beer, as well as outside seating for those looking to enjoy the Florida weather while they eat.
