A “Ladies in Red” networking event for women entrepreneurs and professionals will come to SpringHill Inn and Suites on Saturday, August 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This event will be the kick-off event for a new business networking group for women, called Women Changing the World (WCW). The organizers, Leading Management Solutions and Dreams 4 You, are planning to use this group as a platform to bring together women professionals and business owners to network, share knowledge and ideas, and support causes that matter to them.

All women business owners and professionals are invited to attend Ladies in Red. There is no fee to attend, and the hosts are offering complimentary drinks and hot appetizers by VIRASAAT Fine Gourmet Catering. Although the theme of the night is red, wearing red is only a fun suggestion and by no means a requirement.

There will also be “vendor” organizations that provide great services or products to women and women-run businesses. The vendor line-up includes (so far):

  • Abundant Health and Wellness
  • Baseline Nutrition
  • Blossoming Butterfly
  • Christine Dorcelus
  • Color Street
  • Edward Jones
  • Herbal Eden Naturals
  • J Jones Enterprises
  • Mary Kay
  • NV Children’s Boutique and More
  • Paparazzi Jewelry
  • Paragon Farm
  • Pure Romance
  • OniRose Beauty Spa
  • The Scrub Bus Boutique
  • Xiocast

With over 200 people registered, the hosts of Ladies in Red are expecting a great turnout for this first event. They have gotten very positive feedback about the need to cater to women professionals and entrepreneurs in our area and are excited to see just how much can be accomplished when women come together and support one another and the community at large.
