Fort McCoy man jailed after being picked up on five Broward County warrants

A Fort McCoy man who was wanted on five out-of-county warrants was arrested Tuesday shortly before noon at the Marion County Jail.

Robert Morrill, 43, who lives at 15160 NW 248th Avenue Rd., was being sought for violating his probation on charges of:

  • Possession of methamphetamine;
  • Dealing in stolen property;
  • Giving false ownership information to a pawn shop;
  • Grand theft (third degree); and
  • Arson (first degree).

Morrill was being held on no bond and his next court date hasn’t yet been decided. The warrants were for crimes committed in Broward County, jail records show.
