Man sought in connection with death of 20-year-old Anthony woman

Deangelo Leandrew Shelton Clark

Marion County sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man they believe is connected to a Wednesday morning homicide in Anthony.

Deangelo Leandrew Shelton Clark, 30, is being sought in connection with the death of 20-year-old Kiara Alleyene. Her body was found in a home located at 2241 NE 78th Lane in Anthony on Wednesday morning after sheriff’s deputies received a call from a family member who was concerned about her well-being.

Sheriff’s detectives received information that Clark had threatened to take Alleyene’s life and his own. An Amber Alert initially was issued but later was canceled when Alleyene’s daughter was located with a family member.

Clark is considered to be armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a 2008 black Mazda CX7 with North Dakota license plate number 328APC. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
