Oktoberfest coming to Reilly Arts Center on Oct 5

The city of Ocala will host its fourth annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tuscawilla Park. The event, which is presented by the Reilly Arts Center, will include music, traditional and non-traditional foods, axe throwing, and specially brewed beer from Infinite Ale Works.

The giant beer hall tent is returning to Tuscawilla Park. A variety of bands will perform at the festival, including the King Guys’ Oktoberfest Brass Band, Swing Theory, and Honey Hounds.

Entrance to the event is free. Food/beer tickets, steins, t-shirts, and other items may be pre-purchased through the city.

Music Schedule:
11:00 AM: King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Brand
12:30 PM: Swing Theory
2:00 PM: King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Brand
3:30 PM: Honey Hounds

Contests will be interspersed between musical sets, including a Hotdog/Brat Eating competition, an axe throwing contest, a beer stein hoisting contest, and a beer chug contest.

Custom logo’d t-shirts, beer steins, and special packages are for sale. A stein and unlimited refills for the afternoon will cost $35.

The city will offer a limited number of VIP packages that include a 2019 Oktoberfest T-Shirt, a 2019 Oktoberfest glass stein with unlimited refills, access to reserved seating in the 2019 Oktoberfest Biergarten where servers will refill steins, a ticket redeemable for a full fest plate (1 Brat, 1 Dog, Potato Salad, and a pickle), and access to our Live Oak Founders’ Club and indoor restrooms.
