‘Thrill-A-Palooza’ dance, comedy to benefit Ocala Domestic Violence Center

Thrill-A-Palooza will bring dance, music, and comedy together in an event benefiting the Ocala Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center.

The event, initiated by the residents of the Del Webb Stone Creek and On Top of the World Communities, will be held at the Circle Square Commons (8405 SW 80th St) on Friday, October 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with photos with the cast, line dancing & pre-show rituals. “Evileena’s Scary Night” will begin at 7 p.m.

The event is a multi-community, intergenerational theater and dance production created and directed by Cheri Irwin (the Coppertone baby). Volunteer performers (actors & dancers) are local residents, and dance troops from Howard Middle School, Dance by Sheila, Extensions Dance Studio and the XRT Dance Crew will also be featured.

All festivities are free and open to the public and all donations will be accepted on behalf of the Ocala Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center.

Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to bring a bring a lawn chair, snacks and drinks.
