Local candidate Cynthia Dela Rosa, who is running for the 23rd District of the Florida House of Representatives seat, is planning to kick off her campaign at Citizens Circle later this week.
Dela Rosa, who is a recent graduate of the University of Florida, will host the event on Saturday, October 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Citizens Circle, which is located behind City Hall at 151 SE Osceola Ave.
During the event, Dela Rosa will discuss her policies and focus, including protection of small businesses and conservation of the environment, among others.
The event will feature live music, giveaways, and food, including Italian Ice from The Ice Queen, as well as VIP table options catered by Stella’s Modern Pantry.
According to the campaign’s Facebook page, Dela Rosa was compelled to run for public office shortly after graduating from the University of Florida and working at the Florida Autism Center.
