The Ocala International Airport will play host to an upcoming Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Sheltair, in cooperation with the Ocala International Airport Authority and participating airport tenants, is hosting the airport’s 3rd annual installment. The event will be held at the Ocala International Airport, located at 1200 SW 60th Ave.
Admission to the event is free, and games, face painting, and slides are $3 per child for unlimited access. Children are encouraged to come in family-friendly Halloween costumes to enjoy games, food, candy, raffle tickets and tours of visiting aircraft and rescue vehicles.
In addition to offering a community open house that will feature aircraft and airport support vehicles, funds will be raised on behalf of Racing For Cancer, which supports various cancer programs focused on early detection and prevention.
Due to being on an active airport, for everyone’s safety only service dogs on leashes are allowed.
