New Epic Theatre joining slate of Ocala cinema options this fall

A new Epic Theatre in Ocala is slated to join the other cinema options later this fall.

The theater, which has been in the works for over two years, recently announced on their Facebook page that they are projecting an open date between late November and early December. it will be located among the other businesses at Market Street at Heathbrook (4414 SW College Road).

“Epic Theatres Ocala is coming along. Anticipate an opening late November or early December” said the Facebook post.

Photos of the theater show the brisk progress the project has made in recent months.

Epic Theatre Ocala is slated to open later this fall

Epic Theatres Ocala will be the chain’s 11th location in the state of Florida. The company currently operates theaters in Clermont, Deland, Deltona, Jacksonville, Mount Dora, Ocala, Orlando, Palm Coast, St Augustine, Stuart, and Titusville, as well as one location in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The chain announced last month that they were hiring for the new theatre. For those interested in applying for a job, complete and submit the Epic Theatres Employment Application.
