Judith “Judie” Boris

An Ocala woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover crash on Interstate 75 in Marion County.

Judith Boris, 52, had been driving a 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup at 11 p.m. Thursday northbound on I-75 near Mile Marker 346 when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2019 Chevy Traverse driven by 54-year-old Mayra Ramirez of Ocala, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Boris’ pickup left the roadway and overturned several times. Boris, who had not been wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle, the report said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ramirez suffered minor injuries and was transported to West Marion Hospital.
