A man who was found dead early Saturday morning in the yard of a residence in the Belleview Ridge Estates neighborhood has been identified.
Detectives with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit have identified the victim as 34-year-old Jherod Styles, of Summerfield. Deputies were called to the Belleview neighborhood off E Hwy. 25 shortly after 6:30 a.m. for a death investigation and that’s when they located Styles’ body.
Detectives believed Styles’ death is an isolated incident and don’t believe there is a threat to the community, a report says, adding that the investigation is continuing.
