Popular Ocala gourmet coffee shop goes on the market

An Ocala coffee shop is for sale.

Sips by JJ, located at 2601 SW 19th Avenue Rd. in the Hollywood 16 Plaza, has been in business for four years. It offers gourmet coffees, macaroons, cupcakes, pastries, iced tea and smoothies and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m.

Sips by JJ, located at 2601 SW 19th Avenue Rd. in the Hollywood 16 Plaza, is on the market for $49,900.

The asking price for the eatery is $49,900. It is listed by Dawn-Marie Crown with Transworld Business Brokers. She also is offering area Realtors a “finder’s fee” of $3,000 if they bring a buyer to the table and the transaction is completed. Crown can be reached at (352) 985-9648.

“It’s a way to turn-key your way to becoming your own boss for under 50k!” wrote Crown on her Facebook page on Wednesday, when announcing the coffee shop was for sale.

Crown also handled the listings for the Cup O’ The Irish when it went up for sale for $45,000 in November and the Charlie Horse Restaurant and Lounge when it was put on the market for $799,000 in August.
