NCSA recruiting expert to speak at Vanguard High School

A college athletic recruiting expert will speak at Vanguard High School later this month on how families can navigate the collegiate athletic experience.

Ron Sigler, a former Division I football player, will make the presentation on Tuesday, December 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the high school, which is located at 7 NW 28th Street. Sigler will help familiarize families with the timeline and guidelines that college coaches use to contact student-athletes, as well as offer tips on how to go about evaluating schools and programs. The event is free and open to the public.

Sigler, who has 16 years of coaching experience at the NCAA division level, travels the country on behalf of Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), an organization dedicated to educating athletes and families about the recruiting process.
