Anthony woman jailed after showing up at Ocala motel where she wasn’t welcome

Amber Rose Bledsoe

An Anthony woman found herself behind bars Thursday after visiting an Ocala motel where she wasn’t welcome.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies were called to Stage Stop Motel at 5131 E Silver Springs Blvd. and when they arrived, they were told that 31-year-old Amber Rose Bledsoe was in Room 211. Deputies then spoke with Bledsoe and she admitted that she knew she wasn’t supposed to be at the motel, a sheriff’s office report states.

A short time later, a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer arrived and confirmed he had trespassed Bledsoe from the motel on Dec. 11. A computer check revealed the trespass warning was still active and Bledsoe was placed under arrest, the report says.

Bledsoe, who lives at 8965 NE 16th Terr. in Anthony, was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with trespassing in a structure or conveyance. She is being held with no bond and her next court date hasn’t yet been set, jail records show.
