Ocala man jailed after caught trespassing at Realty office twice in two days

Frederick Anthony Kalfin

An Ocala man was jailed Thursday afternoon after he was caught coming out of an abandoned building on S Pine Avenue.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy was conducting a security check on property owned by Dinkins Realty at 3325 S Pine Ave. when he saw 31-year-old Frederick Anthony Kalfin exiting an abandoned building. Kalfin had been trespassed from the same property on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. and said he understood that he couldn’t return, a sheriff’s office report states.

A trespass authorization for the property already was on file with the sheriff’s office, so Kalfin was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail, where he was charged with trespassing. He was being held on no bond and his next court date hasn’t yet been set, jail records show.
