An Ocala motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a four-vehicle collision on Interstate 75.

The crash took place around 8:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes in Marion County. Rashard Baker, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2011 Suzuki motorcycle collided with the rear of a trailer that was being pulled by a 2010 Ford F-150 driven by Jayven Couch, of Terrell, Texas, a Florida Highway Patrol reports states.

Baker’s motorcycle overturned in the middle lane of I-75 and was hit by a 2014 Honda Accord, driven by 25-year-old Kurt Hellthaler, of Tampa. Hellthaler’s vehicle veered into the inside median and collided with the guardrail, the report says.

Baker’s motorcycle then went into the inside travel lane, where it was struck by a 2016 Toyota 4Runner driven by 44-year-old Natalia Hart, of Ocala. Neither Couch, Hellthaler nor Hart were injured in the crash, the report says.
