The victim of a fatal Friday night shooting in Belleview has been identified and Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a person of interest in the case.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 4400 block of SE 115th Street around 5:15 p.m. Friday after receiving a call about a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult white male, later identified as 32-year-old Charles Brady, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, a sheriff’s office report states.
Sheriff’s detectives have identified 27-year-old Rene Nadal as a person of interest in the case. He currently is being sought on an outstanding warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
