Morriston man charged with driving without license

Juan Leanos-Marquez

A Morriston man was charged with driving without a license after being pulled over in Ocala for not having any taillights.

Juan Leanos-Marquez, 29, of 21130 SE 70th St., was behind the wheel of a red Nissan Frontier that a Marion County sheriff’s deputy observed traveling on the 6200 block of SW 60th Avenue at around 8 p.m. Tuesday without working taillights.

Leanos-Maquez, who was born in Mexico, told the deputy he’s been pulled over before for driving without a license. A computer check revealed that he’s never had a license, according to the sheriff’s office report.

Leanos-Marquez was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail, where he’s scheduled to be released on Monday.
