Citra woman uses knife to reject man’s advance

Katrina Louise Henry

A Citra woman is accused of slicing a man in the chest with a knife after he demanded she give him cigarettes and oral sex.

The victim told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy that he and Katrina Henry, 39, were in an argument early Sunday when she grabbed a knife and cut him on the left side of his chest. He said Henry continued to attack him, which made him fear for his life, according to the sheriff’s office report.

After being read her Miranda rights, Henry told the deputy the victim pushed her over the edge by demanding she give him “cigarettes and head.” She said she grabbed the knife and pressed it on the side of the victim’s chest sliced him. Henry said she didn’t stab him and only sliced him with the knife for getting in her face, the report said.

The deputy observed an approximately one-inch superficial cut on the victim’s left chest. Henry was charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Marion County Jail. She was released Tuesday on $2,500 bond and awaits a March 17 appearance in Marion County Court.
