Marion County cancels multiple programs in wake of COVID-19 scare

Marion County officials have announced several cancellations due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Those include:

  • Forest Community Center: All county programs have been postponed until further notice. Those include Forest Jam, Fun Friday, Archery 101 and the community center yard sale, as well as all homeschool programs art, physical education and extended day programs.
  • Ma Barker House Museum: All scheduled tours have been postponed until further notice at the Ma Barker House Museum.
  • Marion County Parks and Recreation: Senior softball events at Ralph Russell Park.

Marion County parks, recreation areas and public library locations remain open to the public as regularly scheduled.
