Ocala Police searching for thief who ripped off vehicle and went shopping

The Ocala Police Department is searching for a thief who burglarized a vehicle earlier this month.

Ocala Police officers are searching for the person shown above, who is accused of burglarizing a vehicle earlier this month and going shopping with the victim’s stolen credit cards.

The crime took placed on March 4 at Scott Springs Park, located at 2825 SW 24th Ave. The victim’s credit cards were stolen from the vehicle. The person pictured above was seen using the credit cards at both Target and Walgreens on SW College Road. The photo was captured by video surveillance at Target on March 4.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect is asked to contact Detective R. Williams at (352) 369-7000.
