Toilet-clogging Ocala man jailed after nasty spat with woman

Rushane Jesse Jackson

An Ocala man was arrested after he allegedly punched a woman during an argument about him clogging up all the toilets in the house.

Rushane Jesse Jackson, 22, was charged with simple domestic battery after the incident, which happened Sunday evening.

The victim told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy she was having a verbal altercation with Jackson about him clogging up the toilets when he moved towards her boyfriend in an aggressive manner. She said a juvenile eyewitness was trying to keep Jackson from hitting the victim’s boyfriend when he punched the victim in the left upper arm, near her shoulder, according to the sheriff’s office report.

The victim said she believed she might have a dislocated shoulder or broken arm. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the report said.

The victim’s boyfriend said Jackson was arguing with the victim and he stepped in because Jackson was disrespecting her. He said Jackson moved toward him in an aggressive manner and he stepped out of the way. The victim’s boyfriend said the juvenile witness was trying to restrain Jackson when he punched the victim on her left shoulder, according to the report.

The juvenile witness said he grabbed Jackson to keep him from hitting the victim’s boyfriend and Jackson struck the victim on the arm, the report said.

Jackson was taken to the Marion County Jail, where he’s being held on $1,000 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in Marion County Court on May 20.
