A 55-year-old Ocala man was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle rollover crash.
The man, whose name wasn’t released because of a new Florida Highway Patrol policy, was traveling north at 10:55 p.m. on SW 62nd Avenue Rd. when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle left the roadway and traveled north on the east grass shoulder before colliding with a chain-link fence, overturning and slamming into a large tree, the FHP report says.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Fire Rescue.
