Marion County Community Services is providing rental and mortgage payment assistance to residents financially impacted by COVID-19.
The funds to help area residents have become available through partnerships with federal, state and local programs. Residents may be eligible for assistance with the following:
- Arrears or future mortgage payments for up to three months for homeowners financially impacted by COVID-19.
- Arrears or future rent payments for up to three months for tenants financially impacted by COVID-19.
“Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their lives and we’re happy to help,” said Cheryl Martin, Community Services director with Marion County government. “Some of our residents are facing financial challenges as a result of COVID-19. We’re here to ensure they have the support they need.”
Resident assistance inquiries may be submitted via application at marioncountyfl.org/communityservices. Additional questions may be directed to CommunityServices@marioncountyfl.org. Due to the anticipated public response, please allow 72 hours for processing.
