Marion County sheriff’s deputies nabbed a Citra man last week after receiving reports of a stolen camper.
The victim reported placing the camper for sale and parking it at a friend’s house. The victim’s friend noticed the camper was missing and called to see if it had been sold, which it had not been.
Four days later, a sheriff’s detective arrested 42-year-old Corey Lee Collier, who is accused of hooking the travel trailer to a tractor and stealing it. Collier was charged with larceny on Monday and booked into the Marion County Jail. He was released on $10,000 bond and his next court date hasn’t yet been set, jail records show.
