Marion County Community Services is providing public service assistance to local nonprofit agencies in response to COVID-19.
Non-profit agencies may be eligible for assistance with the following:
- Supplies, furnishings, equipment, and transportation.
- Outreach equipment, medical care case management, and transportation.
- Hotel/motel reimbursement with new clients who are turned away from a shelter due to overcrowding or closure; or while awaiting diversion or rental unit availability.
- Agency referral of individuals/families in need of rental assistance.
- Grants for new or increased service programs.
Eligible applicants include:
- Nonprofits in good standing in Marion County.
- Homeless people or families referred through a nonprofit located in Marion County.
Nonprofit assistance inquiries may be submitted via application at marioncountyfl.org/communityservices. Additional questions may be directed to CommunityServices@marioncountyfl.org. Due to the anticipated public response, please allow 72 hours for processing.
