An Ocala man found himself behind bars recently after being accused of punching a gal pal and then biting a man friend.
The woman told Marion County sheriff’s deputies that the altercation started this past Wednesday night after she took 18-year-old Hunter Allen Young’s cell phone. She said he became increasingly violent, started yelling at her when she came out of the bedroom and then punched her on the right side of her head.
A man who lives at the residence attempted to pull Young away from the woman and said he was bitten on his right hand. The deputy reported seeing abrasions on the man’s hand, which was bleeding.
Young was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where he was charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was released last Thursday on $1,000 bond and is due in court June 18 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charges.
