Marion sheriff searching for missing teenager who sought to meet online contact

Lauren Michelle Outlaw

UPDATE: LAUREN MICHELLE OUTLAW HAS BEEN LOCATED.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a 15-year-old Ocala girl who went missing Friday night, possibly to meet someone she met online.

Lauren Michelle Outlaw, who lives in the 190 block of NW 100th Avenue, had gone to bed at about 10:30 p.m. and when a family member checked on her about 20 minutes later, her window was open and she wasn’t in her room. Outlaw had stated in the past that she wanted to go to Texas, possibly the Forth Worth area, to meet someone she had been communicating with online. She also had made comments that caused concern for her well-being.

Outlaw is white with brown eyes and red/auburn hair. She is 5-foot-seven-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
