Motorists traveling on Interstate 75 on Thursday afternoon could face substantial traffic delays.
Multiple crashes have been reported in Alachua County in the southbound lanes of I-75 near Mile Marker 376. Traffic is reported to heavy and the roadway is wet, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible, as FHP officers are investigating the crashes and debris is being cleared.
