An Ocala man was jailed recently after Marion County sheriff’s deputies received a call about a reckless driver.
A deputy responded and spotted the driver of a Nissan pickup truck driving recklessly in the 5200 block of S.E. Maricamp Road. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and reported that 22-year-old Zackry Michael Lloyd was showing “obvious signs of impairment,” a sheriff’s office report states.
Lloyd failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the Marion County Jail, where he provided a breath sample showing .174 blood alcohol content. He was charged with driving under the influence and released the following day on his recognizance. He’s due in court Aug. 25 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge.
