The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian on Friday night.
A 39-year-old man was found on the west shoulder of NE Jacksonville Road near 37th Lane around 8:35 p.m. “with injuries consistent to being struck by a motor vehicle.” The man was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, a report states.
